US Government Small Business Related Advice
Business.gov is the offical link to US business related links, and guides you through the maze of government rules and regulations to provide access to services and resources to help starting, growing, and succeeding in business.
For Women links to the Office of Women's Business Ownership and the Online Women's Business Center. They assist with sources for training and counseling regardless of social or financial disadvantage, race, ethnicity or business background.
IRS Small Business is a section of the Internal Revenue website specializing in small business owners and the self-employed. Advice includes links to related information on a wide variety of subjects.
MyMoney.gov is the U.S. government's website dedicated to teaching basics about financial education including planning to buy a home, balancing your checkbook, investing in your 401k, and other information from 20 federal agencies.
Micro-Loans from the Small Business Administration provides very small loans to start-up, newly established, or growing small business concerns with loans to eligible borrowers up to a maximum of $35,000.
GovLoans.gov lists sources for information on U.S. government and GovBenefits.gov benefits including information on federal loan programs and hundreds of others.
Small Business Export is part of the U.S. Small Business Administration and provides export information about foreign markets including trade counseling, training, legal assistance and publications.
Private Organization Small Business Related Advice
SBDCNET Sources from the Small Business Development Center in San Antonio, Texas provides timely and relevant research upon request without charge. This organization is funded by the Small Business Administration and has offices and counselors throughout the USA.
SCORE Counselors is short for Service Corps Of Retired Executives, and consists of 16 full time employees and more than 10,000 volunteers who mentor entrepreneurs through personal one-on-one business advice sessions on a full range of business topics. They are a nonprofit association and a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
