12 Steps Used in Custom Web Video Production
To maintain competitive pricing, the client will participate in steps 1 through 5 below, and the balance of the production steps 6 through 12 will be provided by the Small Business Resource Center, as follows:
- Plan Production: Agree on video message and overall content presentation
- Video Content: Collect graphic elements, photographs, and illustrations for video
- Slide Sequence: View slide sequence and begin rough outline of message for script
- Create Script: Write final script for narration based on intro, main content, outro
- Voice Content: Record the background voice narration as MP3 from the written script
- Music Content: Choose background music from stereo music selections in my library
- Arrangement: Assemble video elements to match the production plan and script
- Edit Tracks: Edit the video, voice, and music tracks for quality and synchronization
- Mix Tracks: Combine tracks with the video, voice, and music to create the final video
- Production: Create and compress the video for maximum quality and smallest file size
- Approval: Customer review and approval of the custom video prior to uploading online
- Distribution: Distribute the final production video for display on your website or blog

Client supplied material listed under video content above must be your exclusive copyright owned material only. The stereo music tracks for your video are selected by the Small Business Resource Center from my library of royalty free music that was purchased with full rights to use in the production of your video.
Video Voice Narration Production Advice
Creating the narration for your custom web video may be done easily with free software from Audacity. The only cost to you for recording will be a computer headset with microphone which should be less than $20 USD if you don't have one already. Instructions for downloading the free software with a tutorial for recording your voice may be viewed on my blog.
Do you dislike the sound of your recorded voice? We all do! Your recording is what you hear and what your customers will hear that you meet or speak to on the phone. Your video will be more credible using your voice, so relax and be yourself.
Your voice narration recording does not have to be perfect. You may want to visit the page for creating written video or audio scripts before you start recording. Part of the video production service includes edits of the voice track to remove unwanted sounds like sighs, coughs, or extended silence. In addition, as you record and if you make a mistake like fumbling over words, don't stop recording. Start a countdown stating "3-2..." and instead of saying "1" simply pause and continue recording at the phrase, sentence, or paragraph where you made the mistake. I will edit and remove the errors.
Additional Video Content Advice
For photographs or graphics that you furnish for your video, please provide high resolution versions, or at least the biggest file size you have. I'll resize each to standard format.
