Low Cost Custom Web Sites Designed for the Future

Web design is my primary business from my home-based business in Kissimmee, Florida. If you need an experienced web professional to design or redesign your online home, consider my qualifications and reputation for creating an attractive layout with stunning graphics at a modest price. Most small business owners judge a website on aesthetics, and certainly that is important. However, to succeed online the HTML programming code used to create your web site may be even more critical.

Why emphasize creating pages "Designed for the Future"?

The future is here. People surf the internet with handheld devices like IPods and cell phones, while handicapped persons now have screen readers and devices that "read" content from web pages aloud using voice synthesizers. Special printing equipment can print your site content in Braille creating a series of raised dots that blind people can read. Older design techniques do NOT handle these devices as well as XHTML with CSS.

Visit this project to see an example of perfect XHTML code and CSS on the Masterson Construction website.

Next, visit the W3C validator to confirm the XHTML has zero errors. Please close each window to return here.

Some website designers have fallen behind the times when it comes to creating sites compliant with standards established by the World Wide Web Consortium, W3C, the international authority for writing proper web site code. On all my pages the icons at the two bottom corners confirm that this entire site meets XHTML 1.1 and CSS2 per W3C.

XHTML and CSS - The Future of Web Design

The W3C has code standards to cover current trends in computer equipment, plus foward looking concepts for devices that have yet to be invented. XHTML (to replace HTML), and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) are the latest methods for programming that handle devices in use today, plus they assure your website will display well on new computer products introduced in the future!

Next, Consider What You Don't See

Older HTML code is "bloated" so it doesn't load as fast as XHTML. I now offer XHTML designs, however, each of my latest projects include other features that make your website different, and better:

• The page will stretch and fill the screen of the viewer's display without horizontal scrolling
• The email links are "cloaked" (no more SpamBots collecting your email address to send you junk messages)
• All code is written by hand in NotePad which explains my ability to create pages with perfect XHTML and CSS.

E-Commerce and Dynamic Content Management Systems

Clients may choose from informational static sites, or request a dynamic site including a forum, message board, CMS Content Management System, E-Commerce online store, or combination custom site with store. Visit the price list page for details and then compare custom website design pricing. View project examples with dynamic content at the Mainstream Memorabilia online store or the CDA Alliance cms website.

Comparison of Types of Websites

Other than specifying one page or multi-page sites, the major difference in design types are Static (informational) or Dynamic (interactive) pages. My specialty is low-cost information websites for small business owners. If you need a dynamic site with password security, e-commerce, or database options then you will need a bigger budget. Let me know what you have in mind, and often my advice will save you more than you pay for a design.
